Hi! We're Matrix Events.
We are a full-service event agency based in the Denver Metro Area that dives deeper than just the planning and logistics of an event. By working with organizations to build an event strategy that understands the why in order to deliver the highest possible outcome. On top of that, we also have an amazing team that makes it all possible.
MORE THAN AN EVENT
Our mission is to create more than an event! We do this by connecting our event agency knowledge with your goals to achieve the highest possible outcome.

Our Company Values
Constant, Continuous Improvement. We believe that no matter the circumstances, strengths or weaknesses, we as individuals are constantly improving in our personal and work life.
Curiosity to Creativity
We stay curious about the world around us that sparks ideas and thinking outside the box to create memorable life-long experiences.
Work Hard Play Hard
We work hard so we can play hard. We believe that playing helps our team refresh their minds to inspire new ideas, and regain strength when back on the field.
Details Make the Event
Everyone can see the big picture, but it's the details that are remembered. We think about and execute even the smallest details to ensure every experience unique.
Where it all started
The Date: July 3, 2003
The Event: Guerrilla marketing event for the launch of Toyota brand Scion
The Catch: The event needed to reach their target market for the release of the new Toyota brand Scion, and they needed it for the July 4th weekend.
The Solution: Beach Sand Sculptures
Our principal, who was just breaking into the event industry, quickly put together a team to produce the event. The next day they were on Hermosa Beach building a nearly full-size Scion xA car in the sand and handing out swag to the South Bay locals. This guerilla marketing event led to 5 other Scion sand castle event activations along the California coast.

President & Founder
Hello, my name is Ben Fox and I am the founder and President of Matrix Events. The dream to open-up my own event company started in my hometown of Minneapolis, MN when I was DJ’ing and promoting various night clubs and social events. When I moved to Los Angeles, CA after graduating college, I discovered the corporate and marketing side of the event business and I was hooked. After 20+ years of producing live events throughout the world, I moved back the US and started Matrix Events in Denver, CO in 2018. We have pivoted strongly to virtual events and now we’re a leader in the industry.
I have definitely led a unique life as I’ve lived in 4 different countries and travelled to over 40 nations! I also was a world champion sand sculptor – think a 17’ Hogwarts Castle in sand! And finally, my family is my driving factor for everything in do – my lovely wife Amber is the heart of the company and my 2 kids, Braxton and Kaya, keep me grounded and energized for the marathon of being a father and business owner.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Amber brings a global perspective to her role as our fearless marketing and product development guru. She has split her career between the medical profession as an EMT, Paramedic and Nurse with her business-sided experience in high-level sales, marketing, consulting and event management. Additionally, her many years as a global Event Producer in places like Dubai, Singapore, Macau and Thailand, allow Amber to use her diverse global experience to lead the Matrix Marketing & Product Development efforts. Whenever we need new ideas and how to bring them to market, Amber is our go-to port of creativity.
After earning my Bachelor's of Science in Event and Meeting Management with two minors in Entrepreneurship and Theatre from Metropolitan State University of Denver, I entered the virtual event world. I have been in the event and hotel industry and really found my passion in serving others. I am a Colorado Native, and I love to travel and take every chance I get to explore. When indoors, I write poetry, dance, and record episodes for my podcast that help others grow.
I joined Matrix Events in August 2020 as the Operations Manager. Prior to joining Matrix Events I was the Warehouse Manger for Pink Monkey Studio, an event decor and production company, and the Executive Assistant to the CEO for Allison Medical, a medical manufacturer. Before moving to Denver in 2014 I worked as an Equity Stage Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a career focused in musicals, opera, and ballet. I am a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Stage Management. When not at work I spend my time reading or toiling in my vegetable garden.
